    Who gives a fawk what was said during contract offer. He was getting big bucks to do a DREAM JOB, s*** I remember some people being pissed about a guy working as a prison guard being able to be on this forum his whole shift. And yet AA gets huge money to do a dream job we all would love to have......No way would I turn that down....no way. He's a fool.

    I keep saying the same thing, WTF?? The guy started in the mailroom and years later is the GM of a MLB team. A dream job in thousands of peoples minds. He is offered a 5 yr deal and says no????? I dont care if I have to go up the ladder for trade approval or not....I build a trusting relationship with my higher chain of command and between the two of us come up with what is best for our team. No Ego. Sounds like he didn't like the team effort idea.

    I'm going out on a limb and saying AA to Boston as GM I remember when Dombrowski was hired he said there was a GM that he recently dealt with that if he could persuade him he would. Im looking for that quote. I liked AA but a few positives I take from this is Gibbons gone no more French at the conferences. no more bottom feedings (I'll bet we claimed more players off waivers than anyone) I know we found some good (mushroom and Smoak) but he would DFA some before they got on the plane. I dont want some guy running the team that doesnt want to be here, Talk about spoiled. He has a job we would all love to have .....paid to live and breathe baseball, paid expense to go see the top minor league prospects, etc....And he turns it down cause its not the right fit???? f*** You!!

    Yes I can. Not that I want it but I see first base and DH as a bit of a log jam. Jose has shown he is ready to give up right field. Arm is fading and fielding questionable at best. So he is at first base. jose/ Smoak/ Cola/ and EE for 2 spots.....EE could bring in a good haul. And 2nd base, If Travis has any trade value I would trade him and sign Barney. Have Goins as back-up. I would trade Travis only for being injury prone. So a package of Travis, EE and sanchez gets you what?? I would keep Revere.

    I'd strongly dislike any great arrogant player thats not on my team. I'm glad we have Bautista. He reminds me alot of George Bell. But I was glad to have him on my team as well.

    It was Price that approached them, He was saying give me the ball. Has nothing to do with game 3 or 4 but rather the fact that Gibbons said he is not available for game 5. Price wants that ball.
