Forgive me for not being able to deduce that the phrase "considering how he's been playing so far" was more about his projections, but his projections say he's going to be a defense-first guy with decent baserunning and a mediocre bat. It's essentially exactly what he was last year, and what we all already know of Gose. Sure, he's hit the ball in a 20 PA sample. He's also yet to take a walk, he's been caught stealing on the basepaths, and he's striking out a third of the time.

Yeah, whoever is putting together these color comparisons is dumn for using that second picture to refer to the color of last year's turf. Just looking at the flag tells you how obviously poor the picture quality is. The lighting in that picture makes it look like glow-in-the-dark Zeus jizzed all over the field. Also, those retro fields looked atrocious. If we're talking about color alone, I actually didn't mind the look of the worn-out turf from last year, it played well with the stadium blue.

The ump warned the benches after the fact, and the ump was a dumbass in that instance as well anyway. Buck's commentary in that play was on point. All of that said, I still think the retaliation homer was awesome, and it's still one of my more vivid Bautista memories.

Frankly, he came off like a punk bitch there. I have no problem with Bautista chirping O'Day or talking s*** to Danks. I don't care that he threw all his equipment on the field when he was pissed at the ump. I don't even have a problem with him spazzing at Nova, but in that event, it was just stupid and baseless on his part. If I remember correctly, that was a tie game and it was Nova's first big league start. There was no way he was throwing at him intentionally, Bautista just looked like an ******* superstar trying to bow up to a rookie because he can.

They have to suspend the manager and the entire bullpen and bench for 25 games. It's the only way to bring order to this rowdy sport that is being overrun by toxic delinquents like Mike Trout.
