    Its honestly a little surprising that DeMarlo hasn't found a gig with another club yet. Estrada probably sees the Jays as a hot ticket. If the team goes far into the post season and he has a decent enough performance he'll ride it to a long term contract from a sucker. My money is Arizona.

    Pillar has provided 2 WAR over this season. Just because he is in a slump doesn't mean you should pull the rug. Unless they plan on playing Pompey everyday, you just go with the pains for now.

    I cannot see this team taking on Shields without SD taking on salary. I would love to trade for him if the price was a non-premium prospect but I can also see SD trying to ask for the moon i.e. Pompey/Alford and Travis.
