    I'd like to dedicate to appreciate how much a tank Clayton Kershaw is. Another 7+ WAR season, makes that 4 in his last 5 and 7 consecutive 4+ WAR seasons. If that wasn't amazing enough his K/9 has been increasing and xFIP decreasing over that span. He is probably the only pitcher to date worth that 200+ Million contract.

    Dude, its more drunk farts, fat chicks and babies than babes. I have the internet for babes, SportsNet doesn't need to try and fill that void. Not sure if I should be excited about the fact the Jays could be making the playoffs or the fact that SportsNet won't have coverage. Its like winning the lotto twice and you don't know which ticket to claim first.

    1. Goins is not "easily" a top 3 defender at shortstop. Hechavarria, Simmons, Escobar and Crawford are all better. You can argue that he isn't even better than Tulo. 2. When Travis got injured the team "magically" got Tulo replacing Reyes, added Revere replacing Colabello in the OF, added David Price, added Sanchez, Lowe and Hawkins in the pen. A player going down doesn't "magically" make a team have a .800 winning %. It is a team game. 3. On paper and in real life Travis has been better. Travis has had 2.3 WAR, 136 wRC+ and Goins is 1.5 WAR, 88 wRC+ in more games. Goins is the better defender, but Travis providers better overall value and is younger. I am not going to break down the stats further. You seem like you've got your mind set on this and regardless of what I type chances are you won't read it or care. So to save a long pointless debate: we'll agree to disagree.

    That's right Trouba! I've got a loosing record on GDTs 1-2 and the two games we lost were the ones which we came back from against the Royals and O's. So this will either be a gut reaching 10+ run fame loss or a win. Be afraid Trouba, be very afraid.

    Can't disagree with any of this really. Rendon is absolutely a gamble but I am a big risk big reward type of investor.

    Woah now. JD is the best 3B right now in the game, not much of a debate on that. However 2nd best is probably, *sigh*, Machado followed very closely by Bryant. Arenado is a very good player and is arguably a franchise cornerstone, but 2nd best 3B right now is stretching it. Maybe 2nd best in the NL, sure there is debate for that. Despite his down year I'd probably still gamble with Anthony Rendon over him but that is just me.

    Nova has dominated us? Yes he lost the first game but that was in part to Joe not pulling him and Smoak hit the GS.
