  1. I was the same but I found a good way to mix in your veggies is with a smoothie. Put in kale, spinach, leek, celery, carrots, or what ever you'd like and then put in some frozen fruits like mixed berries, mango, banana, pineapple. Put in some Greek yogurt, almond milk, flex seeds, macha powder and what ever to balance the flavor/texture. Its comes out pretty good and don't taste the veggies as much.
  2. http://www.quickmeme.com/img/5b/5b7e0fdd39178dc8d4148618607fc96fb8908a1ea62c04119630f50f349c4ce1.jpg
  3. I liked Villanueva back when he was with the Jays so I am a little bias. Think he could also server as a decent depth should something happen with our pitchers. He isn't a starter by any means but he can eat up quite a few innings.
  4. Nice. Now go sign one of Badenhop, Axford or Villanueva.
  5. And Paxton. Though I think that turned into Syndergaard... For now, Bickford is the only one I am thankful that didn't sign with the Jays lol
  6. Not sure if that really applies? He is already in a contract year playing for his MLB future. On top he know he'll be let go if he doesn't play well. Don't think that comment adds any more pressure at the position he is already in. I agree with this. I think he'd make a decent scout.
  7. Don't think AA can say "Oh yea, we've got Smoak penciled in!". His normal dance talk or just trying to justify keeping DN lol.
  8. Sounds like Navarro will be part of the team as a bench/DH/backup catcher with Thole down in minors.
  9. Jays have Pillar and Dirks as the 4th OF. Viciedo isn't a significant upgrade on either. Would pass. Smoak at least has seasons where he's been a above average MLB hitter, Viciedo hasn't had a single season at or over 100 wRC+. Smoak also has the better plate discipline with a better walk and strike out rates. They both have power so that is a wash. Defensively Smoak is probably average at 1B and Viciedo would probably be around the same if not worse at 1B. How is he a upgrade over Smoak?
  10. I meant in terms of ability, not stature lol. He was still roughly a 7-10 WAR player before his PEDs.
  11. Better offensively, yes. Dude was already a tank in terms of bat speed and discipline. The power just put him over the top. His defense and base running suffered but didn't matter overall. Seriously, the dude was already a tank pre-PEDs and was a monster post. I am a little upset I wasn't able to see his entire career.
  12. He did have rehab assignments after his surgery in Class A last year, so yes. I'd imagine our medical staff is comfortable enough with his health and being the backup OF the Jays won't be putting much strain on his body. He should be capable of playing playing a short period of time should injuries arise, but I can certainly understand the concern of him being broken out of the gate.
  13. Jays signed Dirks. Chances are he'd play ahead of Pillar, no? Pompey could suck offensively, absolutely, but think his defense is good enough for him to at least have a Gose-like contribution.
  14. I doubt we'll get him guys. Don't worry. Amaro will ask for something like Norris. No way our managme.... oh s***.
  15. At first I wasn't sure if I liked Rosenthal or not. But now I am convinced. He is f***ing awesome.
  16. At this point, probably well deserved. Ed Rogers and whom ever really did F things up. What a gong show this offseason turned into.
  17. and Norris traded for DD in 3..2...1....
  18. Guzman, Clancy, Hentgen, Key, Stieb, Halladay? I have only seen Halladay pitch but the list isn't that bad. If a certain someone didn't let his ex-gf get to him he could have been on that list.
  19. Meh. Any other team is still has a terrible fanbase to me.
  20. ..Justin Smoak? Heck even Saunders to a degree.
  21. For a moment there I thought you were posting a image of Daniel Norris and his daily routine. I realized I was wrong once I saw the man in the picture trying to shave. No razor would dare try to cut off the beard of Norris, as behind it doesn't lie a chin, but another fist!
  22. Its not as if the Jays were getting much defensively out of 2nd base recently. Plus, as been stated and proved in this forum, Goin's defense does not outweigh his offense in the lineup. Might as well find the bat to plug into that black hole at the bottom of our lineup.
  23. Even if they do go for tampering, the league would have to step in and prove this. If they do find evidence of tampering, what is the worst that happens? I feel like they are point towards a issue which may not have a large consequence. Would the O's also want to alienate the MLB by pushing a tampering case, on top of their MASN dispute, and future employees whom try to seek jobs there? Obviously being president, as much as it is a made-up title, is a promotion and most GMs will take it. Would most candidates go to a team that has been in such a gong show on this? I am not sure whom looks worse, the O's or Jays in this. Considering the amount of s*** he pulls out his ass, the dude must impress his doctors whenever he gets his colon check.
  24. Dammit Ang, you jinxed it! Please don't ruin a good offseason...
  25. What would the Jays have that Huston would want?
