  1. Which means that Sickels is fairly good on projections. Can't expect much unless they are at least a B. RR failed and was a C, Arencibia failed after being a C+. Snider is somewhat of a regular, same with Cecil.
  2. You also have Navarro's money if you trade him, so it's not that far apart if they wanted to. Plus, they can backload the contract to make it really cheap this year.
  3. Griffin says we only have 9M left. I guess the currency is a factor.
  4. In the last 12 months it went down almost 10%, if you add 2013 to the mix, it went down 16%.
  5. Well, i doubt it's very realistic though. At some point with prospects, you gotta promote them or trade them, when you have too many good ones, you can't keep all of them in AAA.
  6. That's a pretty deep list. We have 12 guys with a B next to their name, very impressive. I feel sorry for the Tigers, they gave their number 1 guy and he's only number 6 in our system according to this list.
  7. You missed my point, if target was $140M in September(just an estimate), now that CAD dropped, it's about equal to $119M.
  8. Do they take into account the CAD/USD exchange rate? The CAD dropped about 15% in recent months. 15% from $140M is $21M, so 140-21 = 119 which is where we at now.
  9. Most of his career he had BABIP around .300 mark, last year it was .247. I'm not an expert on how it's calculated but i'm guessing higher BABIP will result in higher WAR. If he regresses to his normal self then it's only natural to assume his WAR will drop as well. So what i'm assuming is 2013 like year with less velocity. Again, correct me if i'm wrong.
  10. He had 1.7 war with a lot of luck on balls in play. I'm guessing if you remove that luck, his war falls below 1. So you are giving him Bautista money for little more than Kawasaki's production. Surely we can find better value.
  11. The guy been losing velocity for the past 3 years, he's down to 91.2 on his fast ball in 2014. Plus, he is owed 13mil for next year. Is he that much better than our old closer? P.S, he had a really low BABIP in 2014.
  12. You think that's funny? He actually suggests we should give them 2 players out of Stroman, Sanchez and Norris.
  13. Nick Punto is available for league minimum...
  14. Sorry, i thought it was funny. Didn't try to be mean.
  15. His views are almost out of this world, even for a liberal. It's almost as bad as Debbie Wasserman Schultz. Juan Williams is nice if you're looking for a great mind, i don't agree with him but i definitely respect him.
  16. De-ja-vu.... 2/5th of their rotation matches some team i can't put a name on, what could go wrong...
  17. For that price they will probably throw in Buck Showalter too.
  18. I guess they are going to feel what we felt with Escobar.
  19. Alan Colmes is not much of a great mind, more like a mind at best.
  20. 1 year sounds exactly like the Blue Jays.
  21. So now that Melky is gone, how exactly do they decide which supplemental pick we get? There are something like 15 picks due to free agency, how do they decide which team gets what?
