    Silly thread, what do you want him to say? As good as Syndergaard seems to be, he's not a CY Yong winner yet, Dickey is. We paid CY Yong money hoping it won't be the last one, only time will tell. Why don't you create similar thread going after the Pirates GM for letting Bautista go? Or maybe the Rangers for letting both Chris Davis and Edwin Encarnacion go? Both teams are doing just fine even without those stars.

    I'm still shocked at how far off he was. Not seeing the ball is one thing but this? Reminds me of the little kids in the home run derby trying to catch the ball.

    That may be true but i'm also part of a forum for business owners and what i said seems to be a very strong trend in recent years.

    Truth is, both countries suck for various reasons. I have employed in the last few years close to 20 people, those are service jobs that pay 1.5 to 2 times what minimum wage is. Anyway, at least half of those people previously declared bankruptcy and pretty much 90% of them will beg me for an advance on their bi weekly salary if it happens to fall on a weekend (which would push their pay day in a day or two). You add that to the fact that most people in Canada and the US max their credit all the time and you get a huge population of ill advised / uneducated / making all the possible wrong decisions kind of people. So as much as stats are fun to watch (like in baseball) i wouldn't put too much faith into it.

    Why put him on waivers if you don't want to trade? Or maybe they mean they don't get enough of return to trade him.

    Derosa is fairly useful as a utility guy, not to mention the fact that he produces. He has as many RBI as he does hits, i'm sure quite a few teams would want that on their bench right now.

    I found it really funny. The guy was trying every possible stunt to get out of the inning without pitching but then he was touched for a few runs.
