  1. Maybe he'll try to surprise him with multiple soft knuckleballs? I don't think anything can possibly go wrong.
  2. Detroit Tigers (62-50, 1st in AL Central) @ Toronto Blue Jays (61-55, T-2nd in AL East) http://i.gyazo.com/040092d06d577c355d0806d42a178a06.png Pitching Matchups: http://i.gyazo.com/6dab5fa42d24cf5c4ef672a2a161d4d1.png SP - Anibal Sanchez (120.1 IP, 7.40 K/9, 2.17 BB/9, 45.7% GB%, .269 BABIP, 2.72 FIP, 3.55 xFIP, 3.4 WAR) http://i.gyazo.com/48b5200bf3c3f5cce3e49ae01a034b56.png SP - R.A. 3. I don't really know where else to ask this since not many people read the board's chat on the front page... Does anyone mind if I make the GDT? I appear to have some free time on my hands.
  4. Btw, did someone forget to give Gibby the memo that says that Valencia is supposed to be a platoon hitter? He's been playing him against righties since we acquired him, and sitting Francisco no less, whose one job IS to hit RHP.
  5. Can we actually like (teenage language is necessary here) just let someone else do the GDT for once? I appreciate what fatcow does and everything but all he does is post it and then leave, even when people throw out suggestions of posters who might do it he still does them because he doesn't even read the board anymore. Plus, y'know, we've been losing a lot of games when he makes the GDT lately and we need to get out of this funk, I can't be the only one reading havok's rotoworld news.
  6. Reyes (3pts) - gen.disarray Melky (3pts) - vdub Bautista (1pt) - Navarro (4pts) - GD Rasmus (2pts) - Kawasaki (9pts) - Valencia (7pts) - Reimold (5pts) Orgfiller Gose (9pts) - Goins (9pts) - Bench (10pts) -
  7. Happ is pitching a f***ing dandy of a game, let's get him some runs!!
  8. Agreed with everything, Rubio is basically Rondo with absolutely no offensive game or craftiness at setting up opportunities for himself at the basket.
  9. The beauty of the splitter is the change in velocity to compliment his electric fastball/sinker, it starts to look like a regular fastball, but then with the change in velocity hitters can look foolish, his curveball is absolutely disgusting so he just needs one more pitch, a cutter is a good suggestion since it moves opposite of his fastball.
  10. With his fastball/sinker a third pitch would be really nice, I think a change or circle-change would be a good addition to his repertoire so hitters aren't always sitting on one pitch.
  11. Was Lawrie put back on the DL or are they just being cautious? Did Gibbons or the FO say anything?
  12. They're doing a rebuild, and doing it the right way, by stacking the farm. I get that they might've expected to be doing better in the standing by now but they have a bunch of talent that's waiting to come up.
  13. The Cubs are just doing a lot of things right atm, their fanbase must be ecstatic to have a FO like that.
  14. Reyes (3pts) - Melky (3pts) - gen.disarray, G-Snarls, Dylan Bautista (1pt) - GD, baseballsss Navarro (4pts) - Rasmus (2pts) - Kawasaki (9pts) - Valencia (7pts) - jays4life19, Orgfiller Reimold (5pts) - Gose (9pts) - Goins (9pts) - Bench (10pts) -
  15. Steroids have never really been an issue in Cuba, I would expect them to be extremely difficult to acquire even if there is someone that can supply the players. You don't need to use PED's to hit well in the Cuban National League, however whether they got some under-the-table substance once they defected is entirely possible. Players like Abreu, Cespedes and Chapman were already beasts in Cuba (and international play as well), so it's not like for them to succeed in the MLB was completely out of the blue, good baseball players will be good anywhere they play.
  16. Lol @ Stanton needing steroids, most powerful hitter in baseball.
  17. I'll be at the game tomorrow providing moral support, better make it a King GDT, if fatcow posts his then ban him.
  18. He was already a great power hitter when he played in Cuba, so yes, I'd be surprised.
  19. Lol STFU he's had 2 chances to turn 2 but the defense didn't help him out and Cruz singled on a groundball.
