That's not how it works. Starters have 5 days of rest in between starts. Relievers come in for an inning at a time and throw at maximum effort.

Smoak is a really big man, at times I think you can get thrown off by his athletic plays at first.

Will likely finish this season at 42 career fWAR. Only 32 years old, career .311/.423/.536, good for a 157 wRC+. Highly regarded as having one of the best eyes in the MLB for quite some time now, and has been recognized as the league MVP once. He has a good shot at the HOF, his hitting profile is a positive one as he ages and inevitably starts declining.
