  1. Wtf is Rasmus doing?
  2. I think you should have made the results public, it's interesting to see which posters vote for which FO.
  3. I feel the same way. All 4 front offices are excellent.
  4. From earlier in the thread:
  5. It's either at 3:37 or 4:07 ET depending on who wins the wildcard game.
  6. Our team isn't very hard to figure out...elite sluggers in Bautista and Edwin, elite two-way players in Donaldson, Tulo and Martin, defense-first guys in Pillar and Goins, speedy leadoff guy in Revere, 1B platoon - one is good defender with pop (Smoak), the other is mostly just a hitter (Colabello). Then we have the ace, the mini-ace, and the knuckleball guy - HM: crafty vet having a career year by ERA. Then the bullpen is pretty good.
  7. Can't vote. It shows as if I've already voted for the second option.
  8. RIP the student crowd and the 9-5ers
  9. Lol the Dodgers don't give a f***.
  10. Donaldson the last two seasons was worth 7.6 and 6.5 WAR. Those are both MVP caliber seasons in any given year.
  11. The WAR values are close enough that you could say they're about equal in that aspect (Trout likely has the slight edge). I don't think the voters will be looking at the decimal difference in WAR anyways. Should be an interesting vote and I can't really disagree with whichever player wins it (unless it's someone outside of Trout or Donaldson, in which case wtf).
  12. Do the Astros celebrate on the field if they lose? Lol, I mean they still know that they made the playoffs...
  13. Fack, brutal DP.
  14. Astros mounting the comeback. Let's do it!
  15. Agreed. Simply put, the team had 3-4 win upgrades at C and 3B, a noticeable upgrade at 2B, whilst only getting worse in the rotation (with the loss of Stroman) and maybe slightly worse in the bullpen. Thankfully for once we won't have to wonder what could have been.
  16. The Pirates are goddamn miracle workers.
  17. It's such a shame that Barney wasn't picked up prior to the September 1. Would have loved him on the bench for the playoffs.
  18. Pompey NEEDS to be on the playoff roster. He's done nothing but prove his superiority to Carrera in every way as the ideal 4th OF/go-to PR in our roster.
  19. f*** how were we ever this average record-wise in the first half? It was obvious the team was extremely talented, should have been playoff bound since the beginning, with the additions of Price, Tulo, Revere and the relievers the team just simply became WS favourites. Inb4 "Fire Gibbons".
  20. ??? Those are one very good pitcher (Hamels) and two decent ones, not exactly threatening to this lineup. Two of them also happen to be left-handed, and we all know what this lineup is capable of against LHP.
  21. Lol Cabrera, way to lollygag the throw.
  22. Fox broadcast: "I don't think anyone saw the walks coming from Sano." Going back to 2012, minor league walk rates of 14.5%, 11.9%, 13.0% and 13.3% this year.
