  1. Jason Castro is putting on a clinic behind the plate.
  2. I can certainly agree with all of this. However, I do still think that Estrada against this lineup would be very risky given how prone he is to the longball. If he did everything that you suggested, he could succeed, but he's the type of pitcher that will have a few mistake pitches, and his stuff would be very hittable for a lineup of this caliber.
  3. The high fastball is actually a weapon of his since his fastball has the lowest vertical drop I believe. His biggest problem is that when he misses by a little it's a meatball.
  4. Estrada would get shelled by the Astros lineup.
  5. Fantastic play all around, wow!
  6. Keuchel is tearing s*** up.
  7. Tanaka doesn't look very sharp.
  8. You just can't hang a high fastball to these Astros hitters.
  9. Holy f***, monster bat flip.
  10. Another bomb from the Astros!
  11. Agreed. Very insightful, sounds intelligent.
  12. Keuchel is absolutely dominating right now.
  13. Chris Archer not only praising Keuchel, but also Castros' framing. Chris Archer is awesome.
  14. The Astros are getting to Tanaka.
  15. I'll just leave this here:
  16. This. I don't understand the hate, you get to see where the pitch landed in the zone as soon as it crosses the plate. Much easier to criticize the umpire.
  17. Wtf is Rasmus doing?
  18. I think you should have made the results public, it's interesting to see which posters vote for which FO.
  19. I feel the same way. All 4 front offices are excellent.
  20. From earlier in the thread:
  21. It's either at 3:37 or 4:07 ET depending on who wins the wildcard game.
  22. Our team isn't very hard to figure out...elite sluggers in Bautista and Edwin, elite two-way players in Donaldson, Tulo and Martin, defense-first guys in Pillar and Goins, speedy leadoff guy in Revere, 1B platoon - one is good defender with pop (Smoak), the other is mostly just a hitter (Colabello). Then we have the ace, the mini-ace, and the knuckleball guy - HM: crafty vet having a career year by ERA. Then the bullpen is pretty good.
  23. Can't vote. It shows as if I've already voted for the second option.
  24. RIP the student crowd and the 9-5ers
