  1. Just because you put good in green and bad in red doesn't mean anything. Pillar is not Ryan Goins.
  2. The bunt being unsuccessful would mean runner at 1B and 1 out in the best case. Obviously that's worse.
  3. Lmao what? He's been hitting line drives all over the place.
  4. It was slide interference...Bautista made contact with Forsythe during his slide.
  5. Lol @ that being any better. There's no one to blame, other than Cecil I guess. s*** happens.
  6. Have you guys ever seen Smoak run?
  7. Probably best not to push it, we have Cecil and other very good options.
  8. What? Their only "luck" was Martin's deep drive.
  9. Martin has been getting extremely unlucky. Guy is just crushing baseballs.
  10. I don't think it was 0-2.
  11. Archer is excellent, Smyly is good and Oddorizi is also good.
  12. hy·per·bo·le hīˈpərbəlē/Submit noun exaggerated statements or claims not meant to be taken literally. synonyms: exaggeration, overstatement, magnification, embroidery, embellishment, excess, overkill, rhetoric; More
  13. Martin wanted high and inside, Sanchez threw middle in. Not really the catcher's fault.
  14. The changeup looks much better than the curveball to be honest.
  15. It's almost like it's the third game of the season against a good pitching staff or something.
  16. Oddorizi clearly is deceptive enough that he can get by at 90-92 mph with his fastball, he also has an excellent changeup which messes with a hitter's timing. Kind of similar to Estrada in that sense.
  17. That's very American of you.
  18. Against Souza, you're right.
  19. Two against Dickerson.
  20. It's the 3rd game of the season bro.
  21. He has a career walk rate of 9.2% over nearly 2000 MLB PA, that's more indicative of future OBP. Of course he'll need to be healthy and actually hit to prove to be an adequate leadoff hitter, but the argument is over Pillar and his 4% walk rate. Martin would likely be better than both anyways.
  22. I'll agree with this, however his regression is inevitable.
  23. BigCecil has infinitely more swag than that guy.
  24. I'm not acting like a high intellect character at all, but I find that you acting like you have Smyly figured out after one inning of work to be pretty rich, as if he's some predictable scrub, and the guys he's facing are little leaguers.
  25. Okay, let the professional hitting coach tell the professional hitters what to look for.
