Yeah, they have such huge blindspots that Bautista and EE are 4th and 15th respectively in hitting since 2010. Looks like the league has really figured them out. -

David Ortiz pulls the ball a lot more than Saunders. The former goes oppo 18.3% of the time to the latter's 25%. Also lol @ criticizing a hitter for not being like David Ortiz. -

This is a much different team than the one against Brooklyn and the one against Washington. And yeah, I'd say a top two finish, best record in franchise history, the emergence of JV, and a conference final finish is plenty to be satisfied with. I'm not blindsided by homerism to know that this current team isn't a championship contender like the tier of teams that GD posted, as we lack that absolute superstar and/or exceptional coaching that all of those teams have in common.

I see where the other posters who complained about too much whining are coming from now. This is a good team, but it's not the best team. There's room for improvement, the franchise is in a really good position as it stands.

This team is easily the second best team in this conference, moreso with a healthy JV and Lowry. Holy f*** can we give them a bit of credit? Would you rather the perennial bottom 10 teams from the post-Bosh era?

It's either Lebron or Irving driving or a kickout to knock down threes. Very hard to guard against.

Meh, if Golden State makes it through they'll put Iggy and Draymond Green on Lebron, better than what most teams have.

The defense wasn't good. I don't think this was necessarily their best overall effort, if anything just better offense than we have seen from Derozan. Lowry and Patterson missed a lot of shots.

Lebron is bodying Carroll. Will need to see how they adjust and if they switch quick enough once they inevitably start double teaming him.
