  1. It's the third inning dude, no one is taking the L yet.
  2. Whoever is taking out the trash: you the real MVP.
  3. Jonn, could you act a little less immature all the time? All the sex jokes are really unnecessary, cringy and quite creepy. Come on man.
  4. If you weren't already aware, Wil Myers is not a good outfielder.
  5. Donaldson: "That's a nice batter's box there, be a shame if someone were to ruin the lines..."
  6. Well there you go, great recognition RA!
  7. Myers is getting a huge lead, though this seems to be the norm with him regardless of pitcher.
  8. For f***'s sake Dickey, took you long enough.
  9. I have no idea how you reached this conclusion. Although, it's not unheard of for people from out of the province to fly in for a Jays game. Funny enough there was a family from Newfoundland and Labrador right in front of us (they were carrying flags).
  10. The tension was real in the ballpark, we were dying for those 8 minutes and 23 seconds. A few of his foulballs were hit straight back near where I was and that just made it even more tense. And then that homer that missed by feet...my god.
  11. I f***ing love this sport walk off filler!!!!!
  12. That Rosales flyball had that special sound to it, he just got under it.
  13. Bautista and Donaldson's swings are both all about getting the homerun path. That they do it consistently is what makes them so good. Let them swing for the fences if they want to.
  14. Why the actual f*** did Upton and Bautista not switch positions? Why did we needlessly lose the DH. Wtf Gibby?
  15. At the game. I think Cashner just got started in his warmup. If he walks to the Blue Jays dugout in between innings I'll let you guys know.
  16. Even f***ing Kershaw got hit by the injury bug this year, at least it's not arm related I guess. Pitchers suxxxxx
  17. That's not really fair though, the MLB draft is a crapshoot.
  18. And that's great that he has, but Sale projects significantly better due to his history of being one of the best starters in baseball, while Sanchez is in his first year of success with less impressive peripherals. Odds are this kind of trade doesn't happen, because the Jays would have to add more pieces to Sanchez, and that's not a direction this team likely takes.
  19. Yeah man totally, there's two sides to this story as usual. I think where j4l19 is coming from here is that even though they've been poor in high leverage spots, some more important stats (for predictive purposes) have been better. Thus, if they keep pitching as they have, in theory, the context based occurrences will even out in the future and they will be better in higher leverage. That's my take on it at least.
  20. You can pretty much live with a complete ******* on your team (as long as he isn't literally hurting his teammates) if he also happens to be one of the best pitchers in baseball, and has a track record of being such, unlike Sanchez. I don't really know how you can say that you believe Sanchez to be already better, albeit he is much cheaper but not necessarily more valuable as a result. Chris Sale has been a legitimate ace for years now.
