    That's unfortunate.

If anything, we repeatedly are being shown that defense still isn't very highly valued by teams trading for skilled defenders. Heck, consensus god of SS Andrelton Simmons got traded for a pretty lousy package, but then again that could be the Braves simply making a very poor move, would not be the first time it's happened. Matt Duffy just got moved along with other pieces almost as if a throw-in for Matt Moore who's been a pretty mediocre starter over his career. My point is, it really doesn't make a lot of sense to look to package Pillar unless someone does the unexpected and pays premium for an elite defender with a bad bat, something that's never really happened before.

Ryan Goins is no AAA star, this is still just SSS noise. He's never been able to hit at or above league average in AAA for a prolonged period of time. He's simply just not a good hitter.
  4. Orgfiller
He probably will, or rather should. This is the Gold Glove after all, be prepared to be disappointed.

The run differential was actually +5

Martin's balls must be on fire. Guy wants to end this game ASAP.
  7. Orgfiller
How did that clip him in the balls? That's a tough break.

Correa is getting screwed hard lol.

That was a Minute Maid homer, but it doesn't matter. Good job EE!

Horrible baserunning from Marisnick, you have to go back immediately on that play.

    Jason Grizzly lmao Buck.
  12. Orgfiller
He's safe, never left the bag and when Bregman made the tag Pillar was already touching the base.

    Lmfao Smoak was leaving!
  14. Orgfiller
He's been facing RHP almost exclusively, as a platoon bat he's not exactly being put into ideal spots.
  15. Orgfiller
    Lol @ this ump.
  16. Orgfiller
Is anyone else getting a high pitched noise on the broadcast?
  17. Orgfiller

Hey WTF, how about them solo dingers eh?

That's rough for Bolsinger, his highlight as a Blue Jays thus far has been getting interviewed by Barry Davis.
  21. Orgfiller
If I didn't already love him after his showing tonight, I do now.

    Grilli is a boss.
