  1. So it is Fister after all.
  2. The best part of this deal is the fact that it probably means no Dickey next year.
  3. The other prospect probably drained his phone's battery playing Pokemon Go.
  4. Morales looks like s***, topping out at 88 and cannot throw a strike.
  5. A platoon righty faces a good pitcher who is tough against righties. The odds were kind of stacked against him.
  6. He mixed in a few changeups in that inning, nice to see along with the good velo.
  7. Eyes on the road meat!
  8. This ump doesn't even care anymore, he's thrown himself to the dark side.
  9. Wow that hit the facing of the 5th deck.
  10. This ump is really bad.
  11. Ump has pretty much been responsible for like 5 extra pitches. Those start to add up.
  12. Sanchez misses high with a strike, then fires a good pitch low for another strike. Then resorts to throwing two fastballs down the middle. Gets the strikeout anyways, good job Aaron.
  13. Call f***ing strikes, Jesus Christ.
  14. Machado trying to show off and it cost him. Stand up and make a good throw idiot.
  15. Tillman is hitting 89, wat.
  16. Wtf is this ump doing?
  17. He's completely shredded the minor leagues as a starting pitcher. I see no reason to think that if he came up he couldn't at least be a dominant reliever right now, with pretty much ace level potential.
  18. Right, I completely understand that, I'm just offering a different POV here. But if the Dodgers call you up and offer Jose De Leon, who might be as good as Osuna is right now, I just don't think you could turn down that kind of deal.
  19. An alternative view, just to play devil's advocate. Osuna's value as a reliever might be at his highest right now. Teams who buy elite relievers are generally those that believe they have a shot at making the playoffs. This doesn't get more obvious than at the trade deadline, with only 50-60 games more to play. The only relievers that I can remember getting traded for a haul in the offseason have been Kimbrel and Chapman. We just saw that Chapman just got twice that value, as has Miller and the past, and Miller a few hours ago. Hell, even Mark Lowe was worth two prospects, and he's a total shitbag now. Elite relievers are different, but I think teams would rather pay now while a BP arm is pitching at their best rather than risk it next season when they might completely gascan as many do. Osuna is fantastic, but maybe a team trading for him in the offseason weighs more heavily the risk that he might get injured, the possibility that their team might not be fully in the playoff hunt come midseason, and the risk that Osuna's walk rate will skyrocket to 5/9.
  20. My lineup looks awful, I don't know what happened. P Corey Kluber P Michael Pineda C Willson Contreras 1B Mike Napoli 2B Kolten Wong 3B Nick Castellanos SS Marcus Semien OF Kole Calhoun OF Tyler Naquin OF Justin Upton
  21. Josh Donaldson's 2013-present are better than any stretch in Alomar's career, and it's not really close.
  22. Happ has been dealing for quite some time now. What a bargain of a contract that's looking like.
  23. He wasn't being very obnoxious about it. Umps usually let you question them (some do at least) if you're not shouting in their face.
