  1. Norman Powell's game is great. Loves to drive and shoot the 3, pesty defender, high energy explosive guy.
  2. Nice, Nogueira remembered that he's 7 feet tall with a huge wingspan.
  3. It's amazing how explosive Derrick Rose remains after all of the knee problems which have never gone away. The Knicks running out Porzingis at PF is giving us problems.
  4. It's pretty well documented that Derozan spends a lot of his time in the gym working on his game. Some people get motivation from different places. He was already a good player, multiple ASG appearances, being a top two player in a team that reached the NBA conference finals, and then a dumb ranking from a well known magazine comes out and says that he's only just okay is enough to make someone pretty mad. If that gave him an extra boost to improve his game, then great, no one knows if this would have happened regardless since DD is always working towards improving.
  5. His older brother is a much, much better player. Prime Yuliesky would probably get the biggest international contract ever. He was long sought after while he was playing in Cuba. This might not necessarily be the case anymore, but saying that the younger brother is the greater talent is probably inaccurate.
  6. If he has Izturis' control of the strike zone then great, but I'm pretty comfortable in saying his power ceiling is substantially higher, and that's not even saying a lot. I'd be happy with him becoming a version of 2016 Javier Baez, obviously he won't have the 80 grade bat speed/overall quickness, but he'll likely strike out less and walk more, don't know how good his defense is.
  7. You mean like Kevin Ahrens, Justin Jackson, Russ Adams, Travis Snider...I know I'm missing a couple more studs I just can't remember off the top of my head.
  8. Derozan basically turned into DWade. The guy has been a menace.
  9. Nogueira leaves his defender wide open after a screen, every single time. He doesn't realize this keeps happening.
  10. But why? He's like the same player as Morales but with big splits. More power, less contact ability.
  11. Lmfao, Spencer Hawes and the Hornets putting on a display of how not to play NBA basketball, and the home crowd starts booing.
  12. His dad isn't 32 years old lol.
  13. Could they though? I don't think any contender is giving up a B level prospect for half a season of the oldest player in baseball, who is mostly just an above-average innings eater.
  14. Yeah, if he was bad before, I can't imagine him being any better in his current physique lol.
  15. Alright, you win this time...on a technicality.
  16. Lol @ Drew Hutchison being on waivers in the LOD. Come at me BTS.
  17. That's not how this works. That's not how any of this works.
  18. I am disappointed in you.
  19. Objectively false.
  20. You should have made that more clear. Also what was wrong with Drew Hutchison? You wanted him off the team ASAP?
  21. Uhhhhh Josh Donaldson? Troy Tulowitzki? Devon Travis? Russell Martin? Marcus Stroman? I'm probably missing more because I don't remember if Osuna and Sanchez were pre-Anthoupoulus. Isn't Hutchison JPR era? Goins probably is as well.
  22. Meh, for a rebuilding team who will need starters, signing a vet innings eater to hold up the rotation for the price of a <1 win player is fine. The Blue Jays are in a completely different position from the Braves. Note that I hate watching RA Dickey pitch so complimenting the Braves on the signing was hard.
  23. Can May be converted back? The Twins are so stupid.
  24. This is amazing news.
  25. I think you have a pretty bad misconception of McCutchen's value. Yes, he had one bad season, but that was preceded by a string of seasons where he was one of the best players in baseball. He is still on a very team-friendly deal ($14M for next season and a $14.5M team option for 2018) and he only just turned 30. I would trade all of Travis, Alford, Pompey and probably any two other prospects not named Vlad Guerrero Jr. (actually I probably would include him, McCutchen is really good) for him in a heartbeat. He currently projects for around 3.5 WAR and I don't think anyone would be surprised to see him pass the 5 win mark again.
