  1. They are literally better at every position. Maybe healthy Gordon and Cain are better but that's pretty much it. Even with their bullpen, no one can hold a candle to Andrew Miller. Okay I forgot Salvador Perez. But he's overrated anyway.
  2. You mean except for the part where they're much better right?
  3. It's simply nasty, I think in terms of raw speed and movement they're similar. Kenley's is just much more explosive.
  4. Shaw's cutter is pure filth. 96 with that movement is so nasty, Kenley Jansen level.
  5. Lmao I'll f***ing take it.
  6. While you wouldn't want to face Kluber twice, him pitching on short rest gives us a slight advantage over him pitching on more rest for Game 5. I think choosing between two starts of a tired Kluber and one rested one is not as clear cut as it might seem. We just need Andrew Miller to stop getting into games.
  7. Inciarte is an elite defender with plus baserunning and around league average hitting. At this point he is Pompey's ceiling, not his floor. If our current FO's handling of him tells us anything, it's that they think he's not a major league calibre starting OF as it stands. With the acquisitions of Upton and continued PT of guys like Carrera and even Ceciliani, Barney, Goins with odd PT, it's clear that they are either trying to avoid exposing his flaws as a starter in hopes of maintaining what little trade value he has, or they just believe he would be detrimental to the performance of the team.
  8. I definitely expected him to dive and the ball to go right underneath his glove.
  9. It's because we REALLY need to maintain this score as is to have the best chance to tie it, and with a day break in between you're only wasting resources by not using Osuna in a spot like this. This is the opposite of what Buck Showalter would have done.
  10. The Martin passed ball wouldn't have affected the outcome at all. Davis scores easily with any hit into the outfield.
  11. Incredibly stupid post is incredibly stupid.
  12. Looks like EE was picking up the ball better in that AB, he seemed uncomfortable the first time around.
  13. I actually don't understand how anyone claims that Cleveland either weren't the favourites to win this game or didn't deserve to win. I love Estrada as much as the next guy, but it's clear that Kluber is the superior pitcher. And Andrew Miller, my god. The game was won on a good AB by Jason Kipnis and a great swing by Lindor, not exactly Alcides Escobar and Eric Hosmer shitballing some groundballs through the defense there.
  14. What kind of a freak says that? What was wrong with Cleveland's crowd? Jesus Christ some people just can't enjoy a beautifully played game of baseball.
  15. I think that it's impossible to blame the bats for this one. Kluber made some mistakes here and there but was otherwise fantastic, and Miller was just downright unhittable.
  16. Their pitching was phenomenal tonight. With Estrada completely dealing for all but one pitch, this was a really enjoyable playoff game. Although the ump going full retard in the late innings wasn't as fun.
  17. Well, just exceptional pitching thrown out by Cleveland today. Gotta take advantage tomorrow.
  18. I'd say he was out in front because Estrada's changeup is filthy, but the location was poor. Also, a lot of Lindor's homers look like that.
