2021 is way too ambitious, I'd be very surprised if he spent less than two full seasons in the minors, and most likely he'll need 3 to really become polished.
This was his first start in Buffalo, not sure if he's just filling in for an injured pitcher. His numbers in Dunedin were pretty underwhelming given his age, not a lot of strikeouts.
Freddy Peralta making his first start in a while:
6 IP, 9 K, 0 BB. 18 swinging strikes on 80 fastballs, only threw 11 non-fastball pitches.
He's very erratic at times but the kid is so good when he's on.
47 points on 31 shots isn't impressive? Especially considering the Raptors were pretty much only focusing on him and making him work for everything.
Lol connorp get a clue man.
Biggio has awesome selectiveness at the plate, he perhaps takes a few too many close pitches that are 50/50 just out of the box but the guy really knows the strikezone well.
I really liked how Thornton composed himself after falling behind 3-1 to Frazier, then came back with some good pitches to put him away. Props to him and whoever suggested doing that.
It may not look that way because our entire team is underperforming, but that is genuinely not that bad of a lineup. Like at least average, although Drury in the 5th slot is not the best.
