  1. Law reached back for something extra with a perfectly located 97 on the high outside corner and he got screwed by the ump.
  2. That was the most upset I've ever seen Teoscar. Tate isn't making himself any friends in our dugout.
  3. Man being handed an 0-2 count in a blowout game where you didn't expect to come in is not the best situation to make your debut in.
  4. That's f***ing brutal, fouled right to his jaw/mouth.
  5. I remember us acquiring Adam in the offseason from the Royals and liking the strikeout numbers. I literally had never heard of Buddy Boshers before though.
  6. Please, no more growing for Vladdy.
  7. 113.6 mph off the bat. This kid is a god damn monster.
  8. The Vladimal has been unleashed.
  9. Fisher doesn't have prospect eligibility. He'd probably be a 40/40+ depending on preference.
  10. He's in A+ and advanced as a pitcher. If he's as good as the Jays believe him to be he'll be at worst in A+ all of 2020, AA for 2021 and cup of coffee in 2022. I don't think 2021 is out of the question if he's truly a top talent but that would be unlikely to expect.
  11. Did you just say that Cal Stevenson has more upside than Derek Fisher? Wat
  12. Wow, the Mets were ready to flip Stroman for Florial and Deivi Garcia? You don't say! I bet they were also ready to accept a Syndergaard for Cody Bellinger deal! Those Mets sure are ready.
  13. I feel like you're underrating Greinke a bit here. This is a good get for the D-Backs for sure, but Greinke is still an excellent pitcher and they're acquiring an incredible amount of risk. That's a pitcher currently recovering from Tommy John, a DH headed to the NL (although Beer absolutely rakes), another pitcher with great stuff and bad command, and a depth infielder who to his credit has hit at every level. Greinke could out-WAR this entire group over the next 3-4 years, and the Astros will have him for 2.5 seasons + the postseason.
  14. This strategy on the part of the Royals to continue to throw out poor starters into the 8th inning, 4th time through the order is uh, certainly a bold strategy.
  15. It's Kyle Johnston. https://www.fangraphs.com/statss.aspx?playerid=sa3004571&position=P
  16. Carter Kieboom here we go!
  17. The Cubs' literal rental of Martin Maldonado is over. They're sending him back to Houston for Tony Kemp who was DFA'd.
  18. First of all, who the f*** is Buddy Boshers? That is certainly a name.
  19. His ERA is worthless. His FIPs and xFIP (SSS for 2019) + projection 2016: 2.80 FIP, 3.15 xFIP 2017: 3.55 FIP, 3.75 xFIP 2019: 4.78 FIP, 5.03 xFIP RoS Steamer projection: 4.25 FIP David Phelps is not worth losing sleep over. The Cubs have a tire fire bullpen and are just throwing s*** at the wall and hoping that Phelps sticks.
  20. His ERAs over the past three years are: 3.40 N/A 3.63 What's that in the middle? Oh right, he missed a year to TJS and then his fastball velocity dipped by 2 mph, as did his production and projections.
  21. 18 year old **High A ball pitcher, thank you very much.
