    I have a feeling you're unlikely to find a scouting report on a 34th rounder, you'll probably have to wait until he makes his way to Lansing or even Dunedin and he gains a little bit of hype from his performance.

    I was gonna ask where you got the extra strikeouts from before going and checking myself that he had 4 IP, 9 K to 1 BB performance today, only allowing a run on 3 hits. Good stuff.

    Aaron Sanchez is a terrible pitcher. The odds are absolutely not in his favour that he's put into the bullpen and he suddenly turns good. His fastball velocity has been declining and he has some of the worst command in baseball. If he were such a valuable piece the Blue Jays wouldn't have had to add on two other mediocre pieces to acquire Fisher, unless you think Fisher is actually valuable which would contradict what you're saying.

    Lol elite CF defense my ass, is that why he played more games in LF than in CF at Dunedin? He's 22 in high A with zero power, that's a total non asset.

    He was rightfully being conservative and wanted to stay at second but Luis Rivera was over aggressive with the send. He should have been out because there was no reason to risk it with his speed.

    Lol I like how Fisher was making the right play by staying at second to not risk the close play at third and Luis f***ing Rivera told him to go for it anyway. Luckily for him Fisher's speed is electric when he really gets going and the Mariners botched the play.

    A bit hard to really recognize due to the video quality, but the second breaking ball was nasty and even more so when the hitter has to be preparing for high 90s heat.

    For the lower levels of the minors, pitch counts on box scores can't be trusted. They assume 4 balls for every walk and 3 strikes for every strikeout. Lebron most likely had far more pitches than that.

    Joshua Palacios has been quietly having a pretty decent season in AA. Just turned 24 less than a month ago. 121 wRC+ Career high walk rate at 12.8% K rate unchanged between A+ and AA, 21.3% Identical power - ISO .121 this season compared to .126 in Dunedin 13 steals, 15 last year The only thing that might be telling is he's split his games between CF and the corners this year as opposed to last year when he was mainly a CF'er. As far as development goes though, he has basically performed as well in AA as he has a year after being in A+ so that's a big win.

    This game rapidly went downhill after the first inning. Just awful baseball from that point forward.
