There's been nothing but moonshots hit this game, if you're looking for examples of the ball being juiced I'm not sure this game is a good candidate.

This start for him in theory decides whether he makes the rotation or not. It's a tough lineup in a historic park so despite the game meaning nothing for the standings it probably means quite a bit to him. He's likely nervous.

Raleigh over Charlotte? The latter do already have a AAA team there but I can't imagine that being a factor in the decision. Larger city with two top 4 sports teams already seems like a no-brainer decision. Or do you just mean Charlotte is a no-doubter over another Canadian city and those are probably ahead too? -

I missed this yesterday. What are the Padres doing? I don't know of Tim Hill is necessarily a LOOGY but he certainly gets hit harder against RHH than LHH, he's also 30. You really had to give up a promising player in Cordero and a guy who would probably be a better reliever in Bolanos for him?
