  1. Just the kind of thing that happens in a Jays vs. Rays game at the Trop.
  2. So is Dante Bichette officially a Jays employee?
  3. Good point, and yeah pitching style wise is where my comparison was aimed.
  4. Joe West can't handle these Charlie Morton curves, he's giving up half way.
  5. He's so crafty and efficient. Like a rich man's Mark Buehrle.
  6. Margot nearly injured himself on that first changeup.
  7. It was dead quiet at Fenway so this is 100% on the Trop's sound guy.
  8. Oh yes Ryu. God damn this is exciting.
  9. That's the sound operator at Tropicana Field who is doing that, not SN.
  10. Good stuff from Vladdy there. Went down, battled a bit and ended up with a good hack sending it about 350 feet in the air. Promising.
  11. Edwin Diaz is back? His stuff was never really the problem last year but he looked filthy there.
  12. "[Yelich] might just be the best hitter in the league". Like... no. It's not that egregious or anything, but no.
  13. Isn't having a DH fun?
  14. It's great to have Yoenis Cespedes back. What a bomb.
  15. Lugo bails out his catcher.
  16. Inciarte is stealing the show.
  17. Seth Lugo is nasty. That spin rate must be a nightmare to hit against.
  18. Inciarte is such an underrated stud.
  19. You're not wrong, but I think the lineup is set up this way so we don't get Chaz Roe'd or equivalent for consecutive RHH late in the game. I suppose an alternative to that is to hit Biggio leadoff and Bo second and then flip flop the lefties and righties similarly down the lineup. Meh.
  20. Montoyo going with the classic R-L-R-L lineup.
  21. Finally, two full lineups without glaring omissions. This should be a fun game. It's too bad for the Mets their staff has thinned because that is a very good offense on paper.
  22. Gotta love Dave Roberts pulling a reverse Gabe Kapler and putting in his 100 mph phenom to close out an 8-1 game.
