  1. I know I'm just feeding the troll here but to clarify the facts, Springer has just 2 GIDP all season.
  2. Can't blame the ump too much as that was a bang-bang play but Springer is clearly safe. He looked safe to me live but I'm also biased.
  3. Imagine how good Tapia would be with the late 90s "balanced breakfast" diet. Bonds is lucky he didn't share eras with the Rocket or else we'd be looking at him as the second best lefty OF of that period.
  4. Kikuchi missing everywhere and two Royal classics, brutal.
  5. I mean it's not like they got jammed. They didn't hit it particularly hard but it was definitely a good piece of hitting, just a soft line drive up the middle high enough to where no one can make a play on it. You don't have to pummel the ball to say what they did was bad process. Both hits had xBAs > .900.
  6. That was an awful two strike pitch, he had Perez on the ropes.
  7. Maybe just not willing to give it 110% just yet post injury just as the bat is starting to heat up. Gave it a competitive effort to first but he can afford to pull up a bit there to not risk anything.
  8. Vlad missed an absolute hanger but not by much. Just missed the sweet spot to drive it 450 feet.
  9. There's no such thing as an untouchable pitching prospect. A guy like Manoah and that's a different story, but someone like Tiedemann, 19 with little pro experience in the low minors, there's no point in setting unreasonable expectations/valuations until they're much further up the ladder and even then with the imminent injury risk you still always have to be willing to listen.

  11. 2022 Albert Almora Jr.: 108 wRC+ Jesse Winker: 95 wRC+
  12. Forget just Berrios overcoming his recent struggles, this is one of our most dominant starts of the year, right up there with Gausman in the early going.
  13. Some wiffle ball s*** from Berrios this outing. Ball is moving all over the place.
  14. Yeah I think he just doesn't have the feel for the change just yet, his stuff is just good enough to dominate without one but once he works on it and is more consistent it'll elevate him to the next level.
  15. Splitting hairs but with his sinker/2-seam I think a circle change would be more effective, I think the lateral movement could benefit him more than downward vertical as it would tunnel better with his arsenal.
  16. Promising sign to see Berrios display the swing and miss stuff.
  17. Kind of makes sense based on his arsenal. Lots of 2-seamers and sliders with some 4-seam FBs mixed in, no real effective changeup. If he adds the change as a legitimate pitch then he'll be able to keep them more at bay.
  18. We've probably hit like 15 balls to the LF warning track this series. f***'s sake.
  19. Danny f***IN Jansen!
  20. The letter J is most definitely not silent in Spanish lol. The pitcher's name is Jaime Barria. The J kinda sounds like an H in English.
  21. Jansen is on everything. No luck to show for it but man he looks like a stud at the plate right now.
  22. Baseball's not his primary sport, he probably doesn't understand exactly what's being challenged.
