Lind is crafty, while not directly saying there is a problem in the clubhouse, you can pretty much insinuate that he thinks there is.
I'm not sure if he meant to do it intentionally (or if he's that dumb), but just like in real life, it's unprofessional to talk that candidly about your previous place of employment. We may appreciate the honesty, but don't confuse it with the wrong way to handle the situation. Evaluating if the Jays additions will change the culture, mentioning a pitcher 'who has no friends', throwing Colby under the bus, speaking on behalf of Casey. All are very unprofessional remarks. Not to mention asking him what his 'Top Jays' are.... what the hell Elliott?
Should of simply stated 'I had a great start to my career with the Jays and wish them the best of luck. Hopefully I can return someday in some capacity. However, my priorities are with making the Pirates everyday right now.'
