  1. Whats the book on Joe Musgrove the former jays draft pick that got traded to Houston in the Happ trade? He has a 54-1 k/bb ratio this year in A-/A+
  2. Nevermind its 850.. but hes had a few years where it is > 1000OPS.. Hes not a good pitcher
  3. his career ops vs rhb is like 1100 or something stupid
  4. Giving up HR to LHB backup/AAA catcher with career ops of 536.. lol
  5. I'm not going to even bother calc'ing the numbers.. But he gave up like a 1500 ops vs LHB today right?
  6. If he were to have TJS, since he is in the minors, he wouldnt acrue 1 yr of service time since he would technically on the MILB 7-day dl?
  7. Hes putting up decent bb/9 and k/9 numbers.. 5GO/2AO So dont sweat over it too much now imo.
  8. No he was an unbelievably lucky reliever in 2014. 157 babip
  9. lol so true it isn't even funny He would bash Cito every other day for a few years, then got suspended and hasn't really sad a bad word since.
  10. Yea well I'm just saying lots of guys have put up nice stats in AA over 50~ip to do not much in AAA/Majors over as a starter. Just to mention a few Jays over the last couple years, Brad Mills, Rzep, Cecil, Carreno etc.. Stuff w/ command > Command fringy stuff > Stuff no command
  11. Less BB%, Splits are same, GB% around the same, babip nothing too crazy.
  12. Thread is goat certain people will never get it(jimcanuck)
  13. Player A - 24 yrs, AA, 42.2IP, 9.28 K/9, 2.74 B/9, 1.05ERA, 2.19FIP Player B - 25 yrs, AA, 43.0IP, 7.53 K/9, 1.67 B/9, 2.72ERA, 2.52FIP Who is player A and B? Both have nice stats currently in AA, but stats aren't everything. Matt Boyd might be nice in the future, but he probably would be destroyed as a starter now, probably could be an average reliever though if given the shot this year.
  14. I think he might actually believe it though.. Not sure Im thinking its a troll
  15. I want him to succeed and cut down his BB rate. But the odds are he wont.
  16. Are you trolling me..? Not sure
  17. omfg I give up.. you dont get it ever
  18. Yes, I realize that. If he can keep a low walk rate he will probably be an average pitcher this year. But the problem is that HE HASNT DONE THAT OVER 4 AND A HALF YEARS. Two starts with a 4~bb walk rate isn't a good enough sample to say he is an elite or even average pitcher. He still has more bb then k, still cant get out LHB.
  19. Yes I hate him, but I am more then rational. Have you not read this entire thread? I want him to succeed, but the odds are he wont. Despite having 2 ok starts, he is still among the worst pitchers currently in the majors.
  20. Yes because he is still among the worst pitchers in all of the majors. Two respectable starts doesn't change anything.
  21. No.. he is still getting murdered by LHB...
  22. W/ reasonable walk rate.. Grade today b-/c+
  23. So far through today Sanchez still making every LHB look like Babe Ruth And getting lots of ground balls, and murdering RHB
