  1. Sex is a personal thing and should be kept that. Half way through Mikes Talking up Blue Jays they had two dummies working with Mike, Sid and someone who sounded like Dirk, but it may have been someone else, anyways he kept talking how he'd like to suk Mike etc, I thought in jest, but given all the homo's who have come out lately, it sounds like being homo is 50-50 vs. being straight, so now in 2013, its better not to joke about being gay or people will think that you are indeed gay such that there are so many of them. BTW Mike and Sid, there were some people listening to the radio, don't assume no one is listening because your show stanks, we don't know it is going to stank until we HEAR it.
  2. Because the 2013 Blue Jays are now one of MLBs elite teams, this question is ridicoulous. Yes spelled like dumb players or teams, the querry should be, which team can challenge us for first place! Boston and maby Baltimore may be pesky trouble makers in late September. But put your money on Toronto. How long has it been since you read a sentence like that?
  3. Mr. Dineke, why do you think NFL coaches are so tough for? Do you know any thing about the NFL. Have you ever heard a coach talk to his star players? We need that in MLB. or at least with the Blue Jays, I can assure you, those babied multi-millionairres wouldn't go in so many ugly slumps!
  4. Howdy dougi gougi, says what is this? Its not rocket science doogi googi. Baseball players are trained to become hypochondriacs these days. If they can't contribute, then they are sick or injured.
  5. Baustitta, scared and backing out from home plate, is that the kind of guy you would want playing on your NFL team? Besides the Jays being out of the pennant race in September, seeing the NFL teams with real tough coaches is such a breath of fresh air every September.
  6. BTS, I find that impossible to believe, last only three times in the past 30 years. But if true, which I doubt, three times in 30 years is three times too many. OK in 1980 and 81 was two of them, then in 82 we shocked the world beating out both Cleveland and New York, both teams starting in 1901. In 1983 we challenged Baltimore for first until mid SEP, then 84, the Tigers got off to a 35-5 start, but we were back in 1985 beating out the mighty Yankees, but just to lose to lowly Kansas City in the then East Play-offs. Who was worse then us from 1986 to 2013?
  7. With all the gay guys coming out of the closet these days, it is not a good time Dirk to tell Mike how much you want to ...........him. It was Sid and some other fellow, (just his voice sounded like yours), these guys put on a ridiculous bs show, kidding each other for an hour as if there was NO listeners on the radio. THATS BAD RADIO!
  8. I was wondering what this is this all about? No Mon no fun, thats what I wrote to my pappy when I was in college, he wrote back, too bad, how sad, your Dad.
  9. Its funny how so many people are interested in this thread. Who cares as long as it is not Toronto. Because we probably hold the record. But times, they are a changing!
  10. The Blue Jays need a no-nonsense manager.
  11. If You'd ask me this question in March I would have said the Red Sox, but the Red Sox Manager sure knows what he is doing. When you get a dream job, you will work hard at keeping it.
  12. He frenquently has some kind of mechanical problem, too much for a so-called super star, I mean I am getting tired of hearing Baustita is in another long ugly slump, but you know because his name is Baustita, he will be OK. Are they referring to that great Mexicon leader by the name of Bausitta? This guy should be batting 6th or lower when he stanks. Its just common sense when a play is hot move him up and when he is down, move him down, don't worry about their egos. Any MLB player should produce no matter where he bats.
  13. The way that Rogers is so good at picking the right games, I didn't realize that old customs of picking games out for the game of the week still existed. Thank you admin. That is what Rogers gets for being so dog gone good at being a sports station. You expect perfection.
  14. I think the Rays, the Orioles impressed me so much more than Tampa, yet we lose two games to them. The Yankees did something to impress God 90 years ago that he still loves them, not as much as he used to tho. So no chance the Yankees will finsih last, you'd hear the former great owner screaming from the grave. That leaves the Blue Jays and Red Sox. Their 3.b.man Will Middleton was so bad the past couple of months he was just sent to Pawtucket. What am I rambling on for, of course the Rays will finish in last much to Bobcats side kick who in March predicted them to finish first, I like that guy, wish he'd take over for the Bobcat, but Rays for sure in last, the top two teams on Oct 1 in the AL East play each other four times starting Thursday night. Very crucial series!
  15. I don't like tsn 1 much less tsn 2, Rogers needs to buy tsn. OK so they fuked up tonight, but this is the first year since Rogers has owned the Jays that they have been in a pennant race. Rogers will learn that growing pains take time.
  16. From Urtman, "there is zero chance Montreal will ever get a MLB team again" Money talks! There are a rich group of people wanting to bring MLB back to Montreal. There will never be expansion in our lifetime, but San Francisco has a good case vs. San Jose, and what market is left in the USA where there is not already a MLB team close by. It will be Montreal vs. Mexico City.
  17. I lived in Windsor during the 70's, in those days Tiger fans were die-hard Tiger fans. But two new generations have come along since the 70's, I doubt today that most Windsor fans love the Tigers over the Blue Jays as they did when I was down there in the 70's. I was very young in those days and heard some great stories about various Tiger greats from what I thought as old people then, 40 and up. For example they told me George Kell was not a clutch hitter. And told me many things I didn't know as many of these great Tiger fans were in their 60's, 70's and 80's. But their long gone now. It would be interesting to hear just who they prefer in Windsor here in 2013 vs. 1977, and are the fans divided between the Tigers and Blue Jays or are they still 95% Detroit fans as they were when I was down there.
  18. Again my first comment in response to deadpools response was, to show only ONE game, but let that ONE game be the Rangers playing New York or Cleveland playing Baltimore, but not a game between LA and Detroit which means nothing to the Toronto Blue Jays or their good fans.
  19. Remember we are paying good money for Rogers Cable these days.
  20. I don't know what Thole did last year with the Mets. But yes, JPA's only asset is that he hits a home run once in a blue moon. I say its time for AA to go back to the drawing board and look for a new catcher.
  21. When Baltimore and Cleveland are playing each other right now, and New York is playing Texas? Both the Yankees and Orioles are 3.5 games ahead of Toronto. Until the A's move to Montreal, Toronto has a monoply in Canada, real Canadian baseball fans would rather watch either Cleveland and Baltimore, or New York and Texas. Who cares who wins between Detroit and Los Angeles?
  22. The road greys and the white homes are a tradition that goes back over 100 years. The Blue Jays problems appear to be some kind of team psychology they have after being perceived as a great team. This past Monday and Tuesday night, they played just like they did in Cleveland on April 2nd and 3rd.
  23. I don't know much about law, so it will be interesting to see what happens. San Jose was so confident of getting the A's that they went and built a brand new stadium for the A's to play in. The problem is greed on the San Frans peoples, (city council etc), BTW over the past ten years San Jose has become the second largest city in California, after LA, San Diego is third now, and SF who for so many years was # 2 in California has become # 4th largest city in California. So you can see why they want to keep the San Jose market. But Oakland has been talking about moving off and on for 40 years, if the courts decide in favor of the Giants, Oakland should move to Akron or Vancouver. Bud Selig said there will not be any more expansion for over 20 years. So who else but those rich people in Montreal who wants to bring a team back to Montreal, again, who else in the USA can give them compitition, Akron, but then the Cleveland Indians will cry FOUL BALL. I think the A's is Montreals best chance. But that would create 6 teams in the AL East, so Toronto would have to move to the NL........theres more but I like the sound of the Blue Jays being in the NL East. The Braves could be moved to another division, or....... another NL team joining the AL, the Nats back to the AL and setting up a rivalry with Baltimore....only 30 miles away from Washington.
  24. AA is responsible for the bull pen success. I've never rooted for a team in 50 years that had a better bull pen then this 2013 Blue Jays team. My only faultfinding was, why did you guys spend so much time building a bull pen when winning games is far more important so finding the best starting five was far more important! People ask what are we going to do when Morrow and Happ come back. you can never have too much good pitching so you send them to Buffalo because six of the guys we have in the bullpen must remain on the parent team, thats why the Yankees were so great from 1923 to 1965, they sent their surplus players down to Columbus who was their triple a team then, there was no free-agancy during those years from 1923 to 1965 as a kid I remember hearing many times. how great their minor league team was.
  25. I forgot, because DeRosa is better than Lawrie, which means for the dumb readers, DeRosa is more productive then Lawrie.
