  1. OK chubs time to make up for your lack of framing with the bat.
  2. Jesus this guy is missing the plate a lot and by a huge margin.
  3. Stromonster is dealing so far. Hopefully this keeps up all game.
  4. Gibbons is saving his challenge for one that's obviously wrong and won't be overturned.
  5. Damn that's an arm from a catcher if I ever saw one.
  6. Let's go EE! When he finally gets one over the plate, CRUSH IT!
  7. "I can walk? f*** that! I need to make an out!"
  8. He seemed to get a kick out of it all but laughing at how close it came.
  9. The prophecy foretold of someone. We thought it was Halladay but it is Stroman.
  10. Holy f*** he had some moves to get his head out of the way there. Damn lucky too.
  11. I guess it's the polar opposite of trade every catcher not named JPA away in the offseason form not too long ago.
  12. "200-inning starting pitchers with ERAs under 4 who are immune to Tommy John surgery don’t exactly grow on trees...." If Dickey winds up needing TJS, he should punch him in the face for the jinx
  13. Seems like worst case he's back accepting the QO and if he continues where he left off this year maybe a trade piece. If not, he walks and takes more money somewhere, Jays get a first rounder. Not really a bad situation either way providing the Jays have a plan for some offense and defense in LF. JMJ might be a decent fit in a platoon, the aforementioned Pillar/Gose, maybe even Pompay, or some stopgap. As long as the Jays don't f*** up and just stick one guy after another with seemingly no plan other than to save money and one that works it's fine. I'd like him back on a cheap deal if he keeps up his offense for 2-3 years and always holds a potential for a trade later.
  14. If he gets offered that deal he's gone before the ink dries.
  15. It'll come down to what he's offered, wants and what some other team might offer. Maybe the injury drops it a little bit maybe not. Hopefully the Jays can use the remainder of the year and their exclusive window to negotiate something and get it done before other teams get their bids in. I'm sure AA puts an option year or two to kind of help the process or make up for some years.
  16. The thing that kind of scares me with AA is he seems to have a lot of wishful thinking when it comes to hoping players will play to their abilities and in some cases better than he thinks. He seems to like the let's hope for the best case scenario and this guy is playing well now therefore next year and for years down the road he is so let's not bothering thinking about looking to add there ie Valencia is playing well, so we don't need to look for a better 2B/3B because he's looking solid and Lawrie is somehow a top player for a week or two then struggles, then gets hurt, then somehow AA thinks he's an All Star for years to come. It seems similar to JPR always valuing a player he likes even when it's clear they're not a MLB caliper player or at best a back up ie Mench and Wilkerson. We've seen a number of seasons of having a young guy with some talent get the nod time and time again, struggle, not handle it but not be replaced until way too late in the year or by some AAAA player while some other guys barely get a look and are shipped out. I know things are limited but after two seasons of disappointment with how one began poorly after the trades, this one was off to a good start in and first place only to fall apart because reinforcements weren't brought in when some areas it was painfully obvious something was needed and his we'll just hope the injured players come back strong took a toll. He'll have to pull some magic this offseason or not only will the team wonder around in yet another mediocre year but the fans will start to get even more pissed.
  17. http://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/mlb/injured-cabrera-says-he-wants-to-stay-in-toronto/ Probably mentioned a number of times, I didn't see it posted, but he said last night he wants to say in Toronto. Who knows if they'll pony up the cash or what he might want to stay. If he wants to stay then maybe not as much money but with how this team handles FA he could ask for a cup of coffee and free dinner and they'd probably let him walk and make up some excuse.
  18. Melky done for the year. Pissed this game away. Valencia being considered for the full time job at 3B next year. It's been one weird, f***ed up day.
  19. Well, f***. At least the suffering for tonight is over. Just. WTF. Seriously. How the f*** did this happen?
  20. f***! Please. Please! PLEASE! Ground ball back to CJ for a DP
  21. Is this for f***ing real? Seriously? This isn't some kind of scripted movie is it? THIS CAN'T BE f***ING REAL?!
  22. Considering the s*** show maybe Pillar holding it was a good thing. If they won the f***ing game because the throw gets away I'd rage more so than I am now.
