  1. Looked like they were tangled up a bit. Throw some ice on it and hope for the best.
  2. Hopefully it's just a bit of a "jarring" and he'll be fine. We are f***ed without a SS back up.
  3. Nice AB Travis! First Big League walk! Now, please Reyes, don't f*** this up!
  4. They're starting to lay off that low pitch. Travis looks disciplined with those close pitches.
  5. Hutch seems like he's off to a good start. Sticking with it when they foul it off and staying focused. Hopefully we'll pick up some runs now.
  6. He'll take a pitch for a called 3rd strike down the middle.
  7. Nasty st rike on the corner. Ugh. Martin thought it was a walk.
  8. I'm just worried if he can't handle it or runs into a bad stretch and has to work on somethings, they've burnt an option year on the kid like some have mentioned. So far this spring he's looked fantastic but that doesn't mean jack when the season starts. It's all back to 0s and then it's for real and matters. Best of luck to him since I'm interested in seeing him pitch at the level and want him to thrive. I just find it odd they optioned Delabar down, when he was doing OK, let Drabek go on waivers, when they could have used those two and if they faltered then turned to guys like Osuna. But I guess when you're as hot as he was this spring he kind of forced himself for consideration and the Jays might be trying to at least bring the best they can, or make it look that way. Something has to finally go our way after 21 years.
  9. I agree. Like I mentioned imagine a scenario where we have to pinch run Navarro? Ugh.
  10. The thing I fear is at some point they may have to pinch run Navarro. the very though of that makes me dry heave. Tolly just doesn't make sense unless they want to hang onto him and hope that when Saunders is good to go he can slip through waivers at that time. If you're going to go with the best you have at least pick a different dimension to the player eg speed, fielding, versatility, power, etc.. I'm sure Goins' option likely played a part but at least he gives you pretty good defense up the middle, backs up short a lot better than Tolly can, gives a LHH, or even Kawaski. I'm assuming it's the let's not lose Tolly on waivers now, sneak him through later, or for some reason keep him on the team in case an injury or move is made later. He really becomes space wasted if they decide to keep Macier when he's activated since you figure they'll either stick him at second and send Travis down, use him as the back up IF, or if lucky just eat the $3M and let him go.
