With Goins out for Kawi. If the Jays give up another run because of those switches someone should just shoot Gibbons and let someone off the street manage the team.

At least that should be the end of the night for the starter. Maybe the Jays can score against their pen like the Spankees did.

"It's a playable play by a major league shortstop..." That's exactly what it was. Too bad Reyes isn't a f***ing MLB shortstop anymore. It would be nice if the FO especially AA realize this and either move him to 2B or find some team stupid enough to take him in a trade or waiver claim.

I'm hoping it's just a down year power wise and with some of his injuries he just went with trying to get a hit rather than kill the ball. It just seems weird he only has 4 or 5 homers. I never thought he'd be back to that 30+ Silver Slugger level. I just hope his back isn't giving out but like you said he doesn't seem lost and doesn't look like he's in pain or whatnot. It won't be horrible if next year he only hits a few as long as he can carry that OBP and high average. I say this and watch him go on a tear the last 2-3 weeks of the season like Bautista did a few years go. I'm partly nervous since Colby is all but gone so we'll lose his power and Melky who knows if they'll bring him back so we'll be down some power.

I'm sure they're going to pick up Lind's option (I hope they could find someone desperate for a LHH and give up something for him in a trade) but it scares me that his power is pretty much gone and he runs like epileptic rag doll high on ecstasy.

Buck strikes me as the kid of guy who will repeatedly make the wild "predictions" for tens of times in a row and then take credit and really believe he predicted the one out of 100 he gets right.

It's not like we have a bench of guys who are better or hit left handed or have an expanded roster or anything. I guess those are just fans who somehow made it onto the bench.

Great way to f*** that up guys. Guy couldn't hit the broad side of a barn and you helped him out. At least they ran his pitch count up. Hopefully they get him next inning.
