  1. Seems reversed. You'd figured they'd have the success and guys like Travis would be striking out/struggling.
  2. Some wind. People must be freezing down there. Parkas out. Hot tea and coffee. I'm cold just thinking about it.
  3. Damn, another K. He's bringing it. Dickey's going to have to be really careful not to give up runs if Pineada keeps this up.
  4. At least he's hanging in there. Work it then get a hit. Cash in at least one run here
  5. Nasty pitch Pineada is throwing. Hopefully Dickey can keep the Yankees bats at bay since Pineada might not give up much tonight.
  6. Huge play hopefully gives them some momentum and gets the offense going this inning.
  7. Like his attitude and drive and wanting to compete but even if everything goes as planned, I wouldn't bring him back, especially if it's a non playoffs situation just to give him as much time to make sure it's healed considering how important he's going to be for the next few years. If he's 100% healthy, passes all the tests, and they think he can manage to pitch, then I can't see the harm IF he's 100% but considering it's his landing foot, the motion involved, I would be worried of some aggravation or another injury. This team has a history of saying a player is OK to come back only for them to wind up back on the DL. Best case he's 100% can throw a few big league innings in Sept maybe the playoffs. Worse case they say sorry kid wait until ST next year so we know you're good to go and not rushing anything.
  8. I guess Bautista made up for it in the OF. The good news is it's not like they needed him to score runs. It's Day One. I'll cut him some slack despite him looking at some pretty meatballs.
  9. Bases loaded. Rogers coming in. Let's see if he is the Esmil of old.
  10. "They need to be more consistent this year." Really, Buck? You don't say?
  11. One hell of a way to make a debut especially never playing above AA.
