Well, that was fun having the lead for half an inning. Dickey was off to such a good start too (at least compared to his standards since coming to TO). Should have been caught ball. Two-run homer. Error, two-run homer.
It's hard to believe he's never played above AA and his minor league career high in homers was 16 a few years back. He's just about a third of the way there and April isn't even over yet.
Damn. Smyly is mowing them down. They better adjust quickly or at least wear him out. If he keeps it up it might be another one of those 1-2 run game winners.
He seems to chase pitches he'd usually lay off. Same goes for Bautista. Last game or two EE has been chasing high fastballs outside the zone. Hopefully it's just a rut.
