  1. you don't know what you are talking about. Nothing you posted proves you're right. The worst part is you think listing the top 3 google results, which you can't even understand, makes you right. Stop. Just stop.
  2. False: I said caffeine wont help concentration over the course of a baseball game False: My contribution to the conversation is to say that you should stop pretending that you know what you are talking about cause you clearly don't Lastly if you knew about negative feedback loops (and it this point it's fairly evident you don't as you are only as well versed in the topic as a 10 sec google search will allow) you would know that I haven't contradicted myself once.
  3. You don't even understand basic scientific premises like, negative feedback loops. I'm not going to give you a HS science lesson. Figure s*** out. Stop talking out of your ass about s*** you clearly don't understand.
  4. Or I have a basic understanding of wtf I'm talking about. I haven't bested anything. I've actually read scientific literature on it. I actually have an education in it. Funny how that works.
  5. WTF are you talking about. Caffeine increase your concentration for all of 10 minutes. After that increases in concentration are attributed to the removal of withdrawal effects. So there is no net increase in concentration from your normal levels. Only from your levels when you are in withdrawal. So explain to me how caffeine will help concentration over a baseball game. Go ahead,
  6. And if you actually knew what you were talking about most the gains from caffeine when you are taking them at large enough doses to last 3 hrs is the removal of withdrawal symptoms. But you clearly don't know wtf you are talking about so I'm not going to have the debate with hard-headed know-it-all.
  7. Medical science does not say that caffeine will increase concentration for the length of a baseball game. Go ahead and prove me wrong if you'd like.
  8. No value but still a chance to have a MLB career.
  9. Very true! Barreto > Pentecost > Nay > Urena > Dean > Tellez > Nessy > Jansen > Lugo > Jimenez > Burns > Thon
  10. IMO for IF prospects it goes Barreto > Nay > Urena > Lugo > Burns > Thon sure I'm missing someone.
  11. It increases it in short spurts. Baseball games are 3hrs. If you're wired on caffeine your concentration levels will drop at some point during the game. It isn't debatable.
  12. Still 2 seasons to FA, big incentive to come back healthy and remove the tarnish from his name before payday. Needs to come back next year clean and perform.
  13. I was going to say Adderall, glad it was confirmed. Kind of silly he has to miss 25 games for that. Very surprised MLB took the exemption away.
  14. You can get around the rules w/ exceptions. Red bull actually decreases concentration but it is a stimulant. Edit: What I meant to say is banning stimulants is silly. You can't keep them out of the game and you should really be focusing on player health.
  15. Castro would play 2B b/c Reyes has a better arm.
  16. Lawrie-Reyes-Castro-Edwin would be a great infield...
  17. For a market value contract. He's not going to get $19M, the deal was backloaded. There would be nothing wrong with the Cubs signing Buehrle for 3yrs ~$40M. We all know he loves Chi town.
  18. No one is pretending anything. Their farm is stacked, top prospects are in the MLB or on the cusp, good core of young players. Tehy do lack verteran leadership, especially in the rotation. Buehrle is still a good pitcher and can help them win now. It's time to switch to a winning mentality. They're only a couple pieces away from contention and have payroll space to fill in some holes.
  19. Or you look at situations within their given context and make decisions based on the whole picture.
  20. Most posters on here are cynical so I imagine they'd be on the hate train.
  21. Goins isn't a young player, he is 26yo and in his prime. Think about that for a second.
  22. Trade a talented player at a position that you have a surplus of options for a talented player that can provide you with wins in an area of need. Hilarious.
