    Nah i just think Smoak is the better overall player and should be in there almost everyday.

    Smoak is very head ups on the defensive side of the ball. There was a play the other day that was a bang bang decision on a bunt and he made a very nice judgement call to let it go foul. These plays won't get measured.

    You don't actually believe the likes of Trumbo is a better first basemen then Smoak do you?

    There are just a handful of defenders that are better then Smoak in the league. Teix, Loney, maybe Hosmer? Point being his defense alone is worth putting in there for Bello, let alone there very similar hitters.

    In my slo pitch league a guy lined one at the pitcher, he caught it then proceeded to chuck the baseball at the hitter.

    remember he traded Iglesias mid season for Peavy which was pretty bad, he got so lucky.
