So what is Brett Lawrie's ceiling now?

He has all the tools to be a superstar except the brains. Baseball is a game of intelligence and Lawrie will never have that so it drastically lowers his ceiling. -

I think they will keep Diaz instead of Goins just because he can play CF as well. I would think about sending Esmil down for Happ. I'd send Sierra down as well.

When your taking fastballs down the middle for strike 3 that means your sitting on the offspeed and don't have a good 2 strike approach. It also seems early in the count when he should be looking fastball hes always either fouling it back or really late on it.

Anyone else thinking Lawrie may never develop? He doesn't seem to be able to think at the plate what the pitcher is trying to do to him. Also don't know why he swings down at the ball. I wonder if Seattle would ever move Seager for Lawrie+Sierra+BP arm

i always have hated Rasmus style and always will. Untill he cuts down his K rates and gets on the Delabar program i will be pro Gose.
