New legit guys- Sean Reid Foley, Danny Jansen, Ryan Borucki
Sleepers- Pat Murphy, Chase de Jong
Busts-Anthony Alford(can't hit, weak arm), Jairo Labourt, Matt Smoral( both are walking way to many and have huge injury concerns, relievers at best....)
I believe they mentioned about keeping some money alive for the trade deadline at the state of the franchise. So i guess we'll have to wait until the end of season to see if they were lying or not, Beeston will be gone by then though.
Yeah i disagree with Wilner here quite a bit. Melky is an everyday player with no platoon splits and yes his D ain't great but its not terrible at the same time. Our park doesn't require elite defense either because its smaller. Saunders probably shouldn't be playing against lefties and that makes him less valuable imo. I do expect quite a power spike from Saunders though so this could change by the end of this year.
But I want all of our specs....Either way this is huge amateur hour by Edwardo and Rogers f***. These guys are business guys apparently and all they do is go behind peoples backs and tell lies....well I guess they get what is coming to them in a way but it's really the fans that lose in the end.
I hated Rajai as a 4th outfielder and wouldn't want him at league min. But saying that he's ok if u stick him in lf against righties but you can never ever EVER play him in cf. Gose's value is all from D and base running which is fine. I just think where he's trending his offensive numbers are not going to be pretty and his overall war will be close to replacement.
Gose has 27% k rate and .318 babip the regression is coming when you can't put the ball in play. Also you can't play Gose against lefties. Travis has equal splits in the minors and is an everyday player. The only hope for Gose is if he cuts his swing down which he doesn't seem to want to do.
