Yeah that was a bad move for sure. The only problem I have with getting rid of Gibbons is I wouldn't know who to replace him with. There are like 4 top dog managers Showalter, Bochy, Scosia and Girardi. The rest are replacement or absolutely terrible. Just another point, Cash got really lucky last night he left Geltz in way to long and probably should have just put in Jepsen to start the inning.

If i was the Phillies i would have moved him even if i didn't get exactly what i want. Way to much money on that contract and Hamels was having shoulder problems last spring. They could get caught with another Cliff Lee situation.
