Yeah, 'caught that, dunno how I misread that, but multitasking... Regardless, the overall cost of R.A. Dickey was far greater than what the expected return could possibly have been. They have made him the opening day starter twice now, which implies that the team as a whole expects him to be the best pitcher in the rotation, and he's been exceptionally sub par with those expectations in mind.
I simply dislike having R.A. Dickey on the Jays and I am going to continue to be vocal about it until he is gone, or he does something to change my mind about it. If he was brought in to be a #4 starter, I would be pleased with the results, he was not and I am not.
All will NOT be forgiven by me if he does go another 6 shutout innings.
