Costs money to get a crew down there (or even use a local crew)... Even for Rogers, it's not free.

You're supposed to give him a pass because of his sad story, so nobody will agree with you out loud. Personally, I don't really care about him one way or another, seems like if I listened to him for too long that he'd be a bit of a sanctimonious jerk, though.
