I'm in the studio right now (well, not literally at the moment, though I will be tonight...) so I'll have some new stuff soon that I'll send you. I was able to do some really awesome things, toured, recorded with my favourite producer (go Sylvia Massy!) played with some kickass musicians (I'm now 1 degree from David f***ing Bowie after playing on a track with his former guitarist...) and I made a living doing it for a good decade, plus it was fun as all f***! I'm still playing, I just have to have a "day job" now. I'm working on a new project now (the aforementioned "in the studio") and while we're officially unnamed, we're leaning towards "Blamethrower" as the band name. Band names are weird things.

I make money doing it, but it's not my only source of income anymore. Most of my actual paying gigs are studio work, but those are too rare to live off of now that I'm an "adult". I spent my 20s living 100% on music though.

Getting 3 outs when you come in with the bases loaded and nobody out in the 3rd can be more valuable than coming in with nobody on in the 9th. (assuming the game isn't already out of reach in the former situation...)
