    Cool. I'm pro robot umps. But until we have robot umps, it's not f***ing cheating. If you can trick the idiots behind you into giving you a favourable call, then you are gaming the system, not cheating.

    I don't know that we've seen that... Who is being traded with control these days? What we've seen is that teams are being stingy in trades when it comes to using prospects to get established talent.

    We take back an equally ugly contract... He's a lefty, and he's looked good as a reliever of late. We're not getting a top 100 prospect for him, but if we get anything of value, that's a plus.

    I still don't think there's any need to be shopping him at this point, we will need pitchers next year, and it's unlikely that his value drops considerably between now and the next trade deadline.

    I don't see the point of trading Stroman for pennies on the dollar... If you're blown away with an offer, sure, but I don't see a scenario where they're shopping him at the moment.

    Looks like you're right, I just counted earlier and might have added one of the 60 day DL guys by accident.

    40 man is full at the moment, but I suppose you could move Donaldson to the 60 day to clear a spot. There's probably a shitbag or two that you could DFA as well.

    I think the answer to this is generally... maybe? We've all seen that Travis CAN produce at a "plus" level, but he's certainly not doing that now, and he's been unable to stay healthy for any long stretch. Drury seems to have a lot of people who know more about baseball than I do at least reasonably excited.
