I would certainly hope the Jays said no to that. Outside of Trout who really shouldn't count anyway 'cause he's not even human, I don't know that there's a more valuable asset than Vladdy at the moment (considering cost, age, control, upside etc.).

Yeah, that's exactly what I meant. Sogard is likely next. Hopefully a few of the guys that are playing way below their talent level will have a hot streak to make up for those two.

They picked the guy who might be a plus CF over the guy who will be a poor LF. They made the correct choice.
