    Actually i didn't mind the comment because it was not directed at anyone in particular. Its basically saying we have to get it done, not saying the pitching sucks or this guy need to play better or anything like that.

    Actually i don't think there would be a handful of teams do this. Mostly Big budget teams who can afford the risk (LAD, BOS, NYY). Its hard to have conversations with people who pull false statements out of their ass and consider them fact.

    And if Bautista declines not much they can do. Also they have to talk to the media sometimes so why would you put it off at all. No management is ever going to be completely open about contract negotiations so why would it change just because Jose can't keep his big mouth shut.

    More comfortable this year then the beginning of last year because of the depth. If one does not work we have other options that we can go to. Did not really have this luxury last season.

    I pisses me off that people are hating this deal even though they don't know what is coming back. There is a chance we are getting dollars or another player is my guess but some people know more lol

    He is not going to go into a media war with jose. What can he say that can possibly make it better. The best possible thing for him is to keep things behind closed doors. No good can come out of airing dirty laundry in the media. Secondly if he is not going to discuss the trade to the media it is likely because discussions are still going on and i don't think other GMs would appreciate him going and discussing what is being discussed. Its not that f***ing hard to understand. f*** this place was a lot more tolerable when we were losing.
