    Before he came back on board with the Jays i thought he was managing in his home town (some minor league team) and they did an interview and he said that he would want to go back there at the tail end of his career. So maybe thats what he is thinking. Who knows.

    Pearce has always been a good ball player he just can't stay healthy which has sucked. Hope to see him finish strong if anyone deserves it its him.

    I always say that a Manager in baseball maybe wins/loses you 3 games and that having a manager that players want to play for is more important in this sport then lets say football or basketball and hockey where there is different ways to run your offense or defense. I could completely out of touch on this but that is firmly my belief.

    I don't know i think their value would be very similar right now but i think Grichuk is more likely to be any use to us.

    From what i have read he is available but you would have to be willing to give up a load for him which it does not sound like any team is willing to do.

    I think he is the kind of player that a team might offer some C+ prospect and try as a reclamation project.

    Yes he is old but mind you this is only his 3rd year in the MLB and he was coming off of a pretty s***** year last year your not going to get a top 10 prospect for a relief pitcher that has not shown sustained success in the majors, you have to be realistic.
