Gose doesn't have much value. 2,700 professional at-bats, never hit well. Miller has much more value, M's don't do that deal.

Ackley and Gose are not comparable. Ackley tore up University ball, tore up the minors (for the most part), and hit pretty well his rookie season. Encountered some serious struggles for sure, but you've seen what he's capable of at least. Gose has always been considered a high ceiling risk, as you never knew if the hit tool existed.

Lets think of trades from OTHER teams perspectives. Why in the works would Seattle Sell on bats with control? They won't, unless blown away. They will not trade miller and Ackley isn't a sell low guy, they will let him figure it out in their system. Contract year for both GM and manager. We don't have pieces they would want.

They have zero outfield depth in system, they won't sell low on Ackley. They will keep him in OF and hope it turns around. Why would they trade miller? They really like him and need a SS with Nick at 2B.

http://t.co/iiClmrsrgh we have a very deep, controllable bullpen with pieces coming off the DL soon as well. Saves are overrated, and 2B has been a black hole all year. Should be shooting for studs like Castellanos from Detroit/Carpenter or Wong from STL. Straight up, you might not get this deal, but add a piece and I think Detroit is desperate enough to do it. Plus Casey costs 4 mil next year, desirable for a team with as huge a payroll as Detroit has.

Hilarious. SD radio guy seems to think Lind is a converted SS. Referenced it twice now two hours apart. Talked about how Hill and Lind were supposed to be out up the middle combo for years.
