It's not really that much money though. When you consider the contracts of Feldman ( 30 million - 3 years), Tim Lincecum - 35 million - 2 years) and just the general price for free agent pitching - 1 year and 9 million for Brandon Morrow is really a no brainier for me....unless he goes into the off season on the DL. Also, factor in that free agent pitching doesn't seem crazy about pitching in the AL east, in a HR friendly park and in a foreign country. We're not getting anyone signing a pillow contract here.
