Thanks Dyan. I typically never put in a backup option, i only do if I'm taking a player who questionable to start which is rare. I'm almost never home before the game starts and i make my picks in the morning before i go to work. I don't know why other people are complaining. lol. IF anyone should be complaining it's you...plus it's not like this is for money.

He's already under contract. I don't think this would be a huge deal if the Jays could get him for a reasonable price.

With the revelation that AA payroll is pretty much max'd out and they don't want to trade top pitching talent and look for more rental guys i think we can rule out us trading for the likes of Cliff Lee, Shark, and David Price. Brandon McCarthy get's a lot of love here as he should although Ian Kennedy is quietly having a very good season too. ( 3.59 ERA, 2.88 FIP, 2.93 xFIP) We would only have to pay him a pro rated 6.1 million he's making this year. The Jays have the 3 worst xFIP in baseball - 4.28 only behind the Twins and White Sox. Buehrle and Happ will likely regress. I know it's early for this and realistically the earliest we would see a trade is early July but given the circumstances McCarthy and Kennedy should be the Jays top targets. Rentals who won't require Stroman/Sanchez/Norris ect.
