Actually I'm not that shocked. Last year ended bad but that was mostly a terrible August and early September. They were still over .500 in the last weekend of July.

I would ship Lind out, yes. -
The babip this year was due for a regression, but it's not only that. He looks like a totally different hitter at the plate now. His swing looks different (almost loopy), he's swinging at a lot more out of the zone. Even early in the year when he wasn't hitting for much power he was walking a lot. That's stopped as well. But it's everything. Even the way he takes pitches - he's not nearly as quiet as he was before. It was like he was in some kind of hypnotic trance before, and now it's like he's woken up and the game's sped up on him.
