    I get that this money sets Franco up for the rest of his life, but i can't for the life of me understand why you would commit to a contract like that this early if your Franco. He has a full season like he had the 2nd half of last season (which is a fair projection for him), he's probably looking at Tatis money at the very least. Makes all the sense in the world though for the Rays to try and get this deal done early though.
