This is the biggest different between the Jays and O's The O's are basically maximizing and getting basically best case scenario out of every guy while the Jays team is filled with tons of underachievers. The Jays problems run much deeper then just the players on the field. The front office doesnt seem to understand how to put together a strong fundamental team who plays consistant ball.

Thats what happens when you go bonkers on pitchers and draft "athletes" who really have no idea how to play the game. Both in the minors and on the ML roster we need more players who actually understand the game and arent just toolsy high potential projects. -
Texas was playing just horrendous baseball. Colorado would be 5-10 games under .500 in the AL East and they were missing Tulo. Baltimore was a legit series win. This is just a bad baseball team. Are they talented? Yes but overall they just dont play consistant good baseball and are flawed in important areas.

Apparently Ruiz is available. We need to find a better catcher for next year if we plan on doing anything.

Didnt alot of people say in the offseason that Reyes really isnt very good defensively? I can see what they were talking about. Guy has a good arm but his hands look questionable.

This is just a laughably DUMB baseball team. We have so many holes to fill but team IQ is just awful.

Count me as one of the people who dont think Lawrie will last at 2b. To be a good 2B you need to have really good hands and a accurate arm and Lawrie is questionable at both. I'm sure he will make some amazing range plays at 2B similar to what he did at 3rd but I dont feel confident with him being able to routinely turn double plays and make on point throws to 1st. Also throw in the idea of players hard sliding into him and it could really get ugly.

Jays just cant execute and thats unacceptable for any team nontheless a very talented team. AA has put together just a brutal team.
